Shape the media presence of a market leader in Central and Eastern Europe. The CEE region is a fast-growing and highly dynamic market. To successfully expand our presence here and set new standards, we are looking for an experienced strategist for media and marketing purchasing, the design of efficient purchasing structures, and as a central partner for our marketing teams.

You will work at a prominent Italian pharmaceutical company with a global presence and a solid track record of over 130 years in the industry, located in Badalona. With a team of more than 700 professionals in Spain, they are among the top 15 pharmaceutical companies in the country. Their current focus covers key areas such as cardiovascular risk, respiratory, analgesia, male sexual health, and the digestive system. Additionally, they are committed to research and development of new products in various therapeutic areas, including oncology.

Función

These tasks will inspire you: Responsible for media sourcing: You will manage sourcing for our major TV and digital campaigns (social, programmatic, display) in the CEE markets and ensure high efficiency and maximum success for our investments through strategic negotiations. You will understand complex pricing structures in detail and use this expertise to successfully negotiate optimal terms for us. Agency and partner management: You will negotiate with sales houses and media agencies and build long-term partnerships to secure sustainable competitive advantages. Data-driven optimization: You analyze media trends and performance KPIs. Based on your evaluations, you optimize budgets and ensure that investments have the greatest impact. Strategic purchasing: You are also responsible for the strategic purchasing of additional marketing services and develop scalable processes and structures for this purpose.

Requisitos

What sets you apart: A solid foundation: You have a master’s degree or diploma in economics with a focus on purchasing, procurement, logistics, or materials management. Practical experience: You have several years of in-depth practical experience in media buying, ideally with a clear focus on TV and digital. A professional background in a media agency is a major advantage. Negotiation expertise: You are experienced in drafting complex contracts, optimizing terms and conditions, and value long-term and fair partner relationships. Analytical understanding: Numbers are your foundation. You understand and translate complex data and price analyses into clear, actionable recommendations. Market knowledge of CEE: You are familiar with the specific challenges and characteristics of Eastern European markets. Business fluent English is required, any additional CEE language is a plus. Working style: You work proactively, in a highly structured manner, and maintain an overview at all times, even in an international and fast-paced environment.
